Middle School Math Forum
This site has downloadable software and reviews, it has a collection of lesson plans,
it also has a variety of puzzles. It includes a wealth of other resources but those are
the ones that are most likely to bring me back. This site has lots of useful resources
and a lively teacher discussion forum. Teachers on this site seem active in developing
software for education: Software Applet
This is a site I'll be stopping to take a look at
in greater detail.
Wolfram Mathematics
What most appealed to me about this page is its extensive math dictionary
Lookup Triskaidekaphobia.
Also of interest, this page has semi up to date news items in the mathematical world and links to fun articles.
I'll send students here for the dictionary alone and of course use it for my own reference. A good math
dictionary is invaluable.
Word problems for kids
This is a page filled with ready-made word problems by grade level. Without a
doubt a fantastic
resource. I'm tempted to save the whole thing so I've got a copy in the event that
this website
should ever go offline. These are fun and interesting word problems, complete with
solutions
and hints.
